Regal Funds Management CEO joins the board
Regal Funds Management has announced that its chief executive officer, Brendan O'Conner, has joined the board as an executive director, effective 23 October 2017.
He will replace former executive director and co-founder, Andrew King, who stepped down from the board at the start of the week.
O'Conner first joined Regal Funds Management in December 2016 as its inaugural CEO. Prior to that he spent ten years with Challenger, nine of which were spent as the CFO of funds management. Prior to Challenger, he held several executive finance roles with Westpac Banking Corporation.
Regal Funds Management has also announced the appointment of three independent directors, Stephen Parbery, Chris Honey and Ian Gibson, who all joined the board on 23 October 2017.
Commenting on the changes, executive chair and CIO, Phil King, said: "While we are sad to see Andrew step down from the board, I'm excited by the calibre of the new directors joining the Regal Board.
