Quilla hires former CIO

Specialist asset consulting firm Quilla has nabbed a former chief investment officer to help advice groups wanting bespoke investment solutions.

Quilla Consulting has hired Michele Santangelo as an investment consultant in its Brisbane office.

Santangelo brings 17 years of experience in funds management and investment research.

He joins from Independent Securities, headquartered in South Africa, where he was a senior portfolio manager for over six years.

Santangelo's previous roles include partner of Empyrean Fund and chief investment officer for Vunani Wealth and Investments in South Africa.
