Quay expands investment team

Boutique investment manager, Quay Global Investors, has announced the appointment of Gavin Truong to the newly-created role of investment analyst.

Based in Sydney, Truong will report to joint portfolio managers, Justin Blaess and Chris Bedingfield.

The firm said Truong's appointment comes "as the Quay Global Real Estate Fund is made available through the BT Panorama and BT Wrap platforms."

Truong joins from Lendlease, where he was a financial analyst, providing financial modelling, research and tax analysis for Lendlease's global real estate fund initiatives. Before this, he worked as an equity research analyst at UBS Australia, where he covered emerging companies including listed real estate.

Commenting on his appointment at Quay, Bedingfield said: "Mr Truong's financial services experiences, including real estate funds management and as an equity research analyst, make him a good fit for the role and the team at this crucial point in the business's evolution."
