QIC Chair steps down

QIC has announced that Don Luke is stepping down as chair after five years' in the role.

In acknowledging his contribution, QIC CEO Damien Frawley said: "I [would like] to take the opportunity to thank Don Luke for his five years of service to QIC and his unwavering commitment to delivering for our clients."

He added: "Don has been instrumental to QIC's success and growth. Under Don's leadership all financial measures have improved considerably and investment performance has remained strong. Highlights include the $2.35bn fundraise for an infrastructure fund and expanding our operations in Australia and the U.S."

Luke's successor, effective 1 April 2019, is Ian Martin.
