Prodigy appoints new Partner & Distribution Director

Guy Ballard has joined Prodigy Investment Partners as the firm's new partner and distribution director. He will report directly to founder and executive chair Steve Tucker and be responsible for developing and executing the firm's retail distribution strategy.

Ballard has 14 years' experience in the areas of asset management, insurance and platform distribution in Australia. He joins Prodigy from NAB Wealth where he spent almost four years as a strategic account manager. Before that he held senior sales and distribution roles at MLC and BT Financial Group.

Commenting on the new role, Ballard said: "I'm looking forward to building out a customer focused retail distribution strategy for Prodigy Investment Partners that aligns the interests of clients and fund managers."
