Boutique investment house, Prime Value Asset Management, has added to its executive team with Natasha Hayes joining as chief operating officer.

Hayes has spent more than 20 years in the financial services sector and has served in senior leadership roles in global funds management and operations.

Before arriving at Prime, Hayes opened and managed a Melbourne office for Alter Domus, a Luxembourg-based firm specialising in fully integrated fund and corporate services.

Other previous roles include head of investment operations at Qualitas Group and executive director performance & reporting at IFM Investors.

Natasha joined Alpha Investment Management in December 2003 after returning from Dublin, where she spent the last five years working at JP Morgan Bank and State Street Bank.

Commenting on the appointment, Prime Value chief executive Yak Yong Quek said Hayes had a reputation for building high-performance teams.

The asset manager is part of an investment group including Shakespeare Property Group, managing over $2.5 billion in equities, income securities, direct property and alternative assets.
