Powerwrap appoints new CEO from Bennelong Wealth

Independent platform provider, Powerwrap, has announced the appointment of William Davidson as chief executive officer, effective January 2018.

Davidson is currently the chief executive officer of independent wealth management boutique, Bennelong Wealth Partners. He is also currently the chief operating officer of Bangarra, one of the largest single family offices in Australia.

Commenting on his upcoming appointment at Powerwrap, chair, Matthew Driscoll, said: "We are delighted to have Will join the executive team and lead the business as we prepare for the next stage of growth."

Following the departure of former CEO Cormac Heffernan in December 2016, Powerwrap director, Chris Brant, has been acting as the firm's managing director. Brant will assist in Davidson's transition and will then remain as a non-executive director on the board.
