Portfolio Manager joins Ophir Asset Management

Australian small and mid-cap equities manager Ophir Asset Management has announced the appointment of Tim Mitchell as a portfolio manager, effective immediately.

In this newly-created role, he will work across both the Ophir Opportunities and Ophir High Conviction strategies, alongside senior portfolio managers Andrew Mitchell and Steven Ng.

Mitchell joins Ophir from Wavestone Capital where he was an analyst covering small and mid-cap Australian equities, a role he left in December 2017. Prior to joining Wavestone Capital in 2015, Mitchell worked as a sell-side analyst at Citigroup, covering the chemicals, packaging, agriculture and consumer sectors.
