TIF Portfolio Manager departs Hastings

Jonathan van Rooyen has resigned from Hastings Funds Management and his role as portfolio manager for the infrastructure fund (TIF) after nine years with the firm.

After being appointed to the role in January 2015, formerly working as the firm's investment head for Asia, van Rooyen is now taking time to consider other opportunities.

A spokesperson confirmed to Industry Moves that van Rooyen will "remain in the position for the time being to allow for a smooth transition."

"Discussions are underway to find a replacement...the rest of the TIF Portfolio Management team remains unchanged with Nick Riordan, Todd Spiers and Kurt Lemke continuing to work with and support TIF along with the rest of the Hastings investment teams."
