Portfolio head named at ETF Securities Australia

After a restructure of its leadership team, ETF Securities has named Cliff Man as head of portfolio management.

The moves will see ETF founder and chair Graham Tuckwell return to Australia as executive chair and the redundancy of CEO Kris Walesby.

Man was previously co-head of portfolio management along with Evan Metcalf, who has become head of product.

"With the Australian ETF industry touching an all-time high of $70 billion in funds under management we believe that there are great opportunities in Australia for the business to accelerate and capitalise on its recent growth," said Tuckwell. "We are committed to the Australian ETF market, excited for its potential and the role we have in making this a reality."

Before joining ETF Securities as associate director of portfolio management in Hong Kong in 2013, Man was an assistant vice president of Guotai Junan Assets Asia Limited and an investment manager with Hang Seng Investment Management Limited.
