PM Capital Global LIC Director departs

PM Capital has announced the departure of Tom Millner, a non-executive director of PM Capital's ASX-listed Global Opportunities Fund Ltd (the company), effective 20 March 2017.

Millner had been a director of the company since its ASX-listing in December 2013 and was also chair of its audit committee. Fellow director Brett Spork has now assumed the role of audit committee chair.

In a statement to the ASX, the company cited "increased professional obligations" as the reason for Millner's departure. The company's board and its investment manager, PM Capital Limited, thanked Millner for his "valuable counsel" and wished him the best for his future corporate endeavours.

Millner added: "I wish to thank my fellow directors, and express my appreciation to our shareholders for their support, as we have worked together to grow our Company. I especially would like to thank our Portfolio Manager, Paul Moore of PM Capital Limited for his stewardship in managing our Company's investments. I wish the Company all the best for its future success."
