Platinum names co-CIO

Clay Smolinski has been promoted to co-chief investment officer at Platinum Asset Management. He'll work alongside Platinum co-founder Andrew Clifford.

Smolinski joined Platinum in 2006 as an analyst and became manager of the Platinum European Fund in 2009. He was assigned to the organisation's unhedged fund in 2014 and later took on additional global portfolios for the organisation. He currently co-managed the flagship Platinum International Fund.

Nikola Dvornak has been appointed co-manager of the Platinum International Fund, working alongside Clifford and Smolinski.
