Pitcher Partners appoints industry veteran as chair

Pitcher Partners Sydney Wealth Management has tapped Andrew Rutherford to lead its board as the firm grows and the wealth management business expands.

Rutherford joins the specialist investment advisory firm having previously held numerous high-profile roles including, finance director and chief operating officer at Goldman Sachs JBWere and co-founder of Koda Capital.

His appointment as chair of PPSWM comes as the firm continues to see significant growth and is well-positioned to meet the growing need for advisers to cater to high-net-worth individuals and their families.

Led by Charlie Viola, the advisory firm has grown to $2.85 billion funds under administration and continues to support the advancement of their adviser's career paths.

Rutherford said joining the board was a good opportunity to be part of a high-performing team on a steep growth trajectory and a strong compliance culture.
