PGIM appoints Head of its Institutional Relationship Group

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential Financial, has announced the appointment of Cameron Sinclair as head of its institutional relationship group, Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.

In this newly-created role, Sinclair will be responsible for advising superannuation funds, platforms and other large institutional investors, and will report to Philip Hsin, head of PGIM's institutional relationship group in Asia Pacific, ex-Japan.

Sinclair was most recently the director of institutional sales for Principal Global Investors, representing the firm's affiliates for the Australia and New Zealand region. Previously, he managed institutional sales for ING Australia and also spent several years in the U.K. leading institutional sales for Daiwa SB Investments.

Commenting on his appointment at PGIM, Hsin said: "With Cameron's depth of knowledge across the investment management landscape in Australia and New Zealand, he will partner with PGIM's businesses and investment experts across asset classes to offer our clients tailored solutions to attain their most pressing investment goals."

A spokesperson for Principal Global Investors confirmed that a replacement for Sinclair is yet to be named.
