Perpetual Limited has landed a new head of distribution for Asia from MFS Investment Management.

Lily Cheung recently relocated to Singapore and will be responsible for growing Perpetual's institutional client base in the region.

Cheung spent the last 14 years at MFS where she was responsible for institutional clients covering central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and public and private pension funds out of Hong Kong.

Most recently, she was managing director - sales and relationship management. Previous roles include financial advisor at ipac Financial Planning and senior associate banker at Citigroup private bank.

Perpetual global distribution head Adam Quaife said Cheung has over 15 years of experience in the asset management industry and will play an instrumental role in building the firm's growing presence in Asia bringing the firm's full suite of investment boutiques to Asia's markets.

These include Barrow Hanley, Trillium, J O Hambro Capital Management, Perpetual Asset Management, Pendal, TSW and Regnan.

"Perpetual now has key executives leading distribution teams across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, truly highlighting our global presence as an asset management business," Quaife added.
