Perpetual Limited general manager for corporate finance and investor relations, Andrew Ehlich, has decided to change things up.

In comments to Industry Moves, Ehlich said, "After close to 20 years in financial services and 13 at Perpetual, I decided it was time for a change of pace and a change in scenery."

Ehlich has relocated to Tasmania, purchasing the Yellow Brick Road olive grove, northwest of Hobart.

"I wasn't actually looking for an olive farm and to be honest I have a lot to learn about olive farming, though I do quite like a dirty martini," said Ehlich.

On his LinkedIn, Ehlich thanked everyone for supporting his move, saying they were welcome to visit at harvest time where they would be paid in olives.

Before joining Perpetual, Ehlich had experience at ING as a business analyst and was the operations manager for Hambros Hopkins Asset Management, which was sold off in 1999.
