Perennial GM Investment Services departs after 11 years

Perennial Value Management has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of Brian Thomas from the role of general manager - investment services, effective December 2017.

Thomas first joined the firm in October 2006 and was responsible for the overall business strategy development, global economic updates, and sales, marketing and product development for Perennial's retail business.

Previously, he was the head of channel management and direct sales at Credit Suisse Asset Management and also held various roles at Macquarie Bank, NRMA Financial Services and Capita Financial Group.

A Perennial spokesperson said: "Brian leaves behind a legacy of a strong brand and value within the retail financial services space, in particular the Australian financial adviser community. Perennial wishes Brian well for his next chapter and thanks him for his service."

It is understood that Thomas' role will not be directly replaced, with other senior team members absorbing his responsibilities.
