Pengana chair joins Dexus board

Warwick Negus has been appointed as a non-executive director to the board of Dexus Funds Management.

Negus brings more than 30 years of experience in the funds management industry, including executive roles with Colonial First State Global Asset Management and Goldman Sachs, where he was managing director in Australia, London, and Singapore.

As a director, Negus has held roles on the boards of Virgin Australia and Tantallon Capital Advisors. He is also currently the chair of Pengana Capital Group.

Dexus chair Richard Sheppard welcomed Negus to the board. "Warwick brings a valuable mix of funds management, finance and property industry experience to our Board and I am looking forward to his contribution. His expertise complements the Board's diverse skillset and his appointment further progresses our Board renewal strategy."

Negus' appointment expands the board to eight NEDs and one executive director. Peter St George is set to retire in June. Negus will stand for election in October of 2021.
