Pengana appoints executive director for international equity funds

Joy Yacoub has joined Pengana Capital Group as executive director and manager for the international equity funds division for Australia and New Zealand.

She joins from Allan Gray, where she spent more than five years as a relationship manager. Before that, she was an investment specialist and analyst for State Street and Dimensional Fund Advisers.

With Pengana, Yacoub will work with the firm's national business development team and the international equities investment team to enhance engagement with researchers, consultants, financial advisers, and institutional investors.

The executive director role is a new one at Pengana, something that CIO and portfolio manager Jordan Cvetanovski says shows the business' growing development and client service capabilities. Further, he said in a statement that Yacoub's experiences skills, experience, and perspectives are a great addition to the team and that it marks an exciting milestone for the business.
