The National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) has appointed a new director and replaced Tom Price as interim CEO.

John Karantzis joins fellow iSignthis executive Tim Hart, who joined the board in mid-February.

Price will remain as a director for the NSX.

Karantzis is also the CEO of iSignthis Ltd, a neobanking payments and transactions company that took 13% ownership of the NSX earlier this year.

Karantzis has held roles in a variety of industries, including working with Shell in the 1990s. He joined as MD and CEO of iSignThis in 2013.

This is the third interim CEO for the NSX since the resignation of Ann Bowering in July of 2019. Matthew Loughnan served in the role from July - December 2019, and Price filled the role from December 2019 - March 2020.
