Nikko Asset Management has announced the appointment of Eddy Schipper to the newly-created role of head of institutional business. Schipper joins from IFM Investors, and his most recent role as executive director, Asia Pacific investor relations - which included a year working in Japan with responsibility for launching IFM's Japan office.
Schipper's appointment follows the recent appointments of Rob Bluzmanis and Naomi Finnigan's to Nikko Asset Management Australia's distribution team.
He will report to managing director, Sam Hallinan, and commence in the role in late October 2015.
