Nikko AM names new COO

Nikko Asset Management has announced the appointment of Peter Lynn as chief operating officer for Nikko AM Australia, effective 6 February 2017.

In this senior leadership role, Lynn will work across the whole business with specific accountability for operations, technology, HR and finance.

Lynn is currently working with the firm's Multi-Asset Team in Singapore and before that was the managing director of Nikko AM's New Zealand business for six years.

Commenting on his new appointment, Lynn said "I am looking forward to working closely with [managing director, Sam Hallinan] and the whole Australian team. There is a lot of positive momentum and revitalised energy in Nikko AM Australia of which I am excited to be a part."
