New role for former BNP Paribas SS Asia Pac Head

Lawrence Au has stepped down as head of Asia Pacific for global custodian BNP Paribas Securities Services and, as part of his retirement plan, moved into the role of executive advisor. In the new role, Au will have strategic oversight on selected key client relationships in the region and act as executive sponsor for key projects in Greater China.

His successor is former BNP Paribas Securities Services global head of finance, legal and ALM treasury, Philippe Benoît, who stepped into the Asia Pacific role on January 1, 2016.
