New role for ClearView Chief Actuary and Risk Officer

ClearView Wealth has announced the appointment of Greg Martin to the newly-created role of general manager, strategy.

Martin previously served as ClearView's chief actuary and risk officer before the role was separated following the firm's decision to increase its investment in risk management and compliance. Orla Cowan, the former CIO governance at ANZ Wealth, has been appointed to the role of chief risk officer.

In his new role, Martin will have responsibility for overseeing ClearView's strategy and execution in addition to the ongoing management of the actuarial and product management functions. He will be involved in the implementation of the firm's technology strategy, life insurance and wealth management offering, and financial advice strategy.
