New role at Aon Hewitt for former Master Trust Head

Aon Hewitt has announced that Janice Sengupta has stepped down as head of the Aon Master Trust, and is succeeded by Jennifer Dean, former director of Aon Superannuation.

Sengupta, who held the dual roles of Aon Hewitt CIO (APAC) and head of the Aon Master Trust since July 2015, will now "concentrate her efforts" as head of Aon Investment Solutions (AIS) for APAC, according to a statement from the firm.

Sengupta has more than 25 years' financial services experience in North America and Australia. She first joined Aon's Sydney office in 2006 as head of research with responsibility for fund manager research within Australasia. In 2007, she was promoted to practice leader and principal of Aon's Investment Consulting business in Australia.

Sengupta joined the trustee board of the Aon Master Trust in 2012 and will stay on as a director.
