New Managing Director named for Macquarie Bank

Mary Reemst has been appointed managing director and CEO of Macquarie Bank Limited (MBL) effective 1 July 2014. Reemst is currently Macquarie's head of credit within the Risk Management Group, having served in the role for 11 years and with Macquarie for approximately 15 years. She will replace Greg Ward, who will remain the group's deputy managing director, head of Banking and Financial Services (BFS) and a member of Macquarie's Executive Committee.
