New Head of Distribution named at Paragon Funds Management

Paragon Funds Management has confirmed the appointment of Tracy Brown as head of distribution, effective February 2018.

According to the firm, Brown's role is "integral to driving growth for the Paragon Australian Long Short Fund, whilst enabling the investment team to dedicate their time to managing the fund and delivering on its investment objective."

Brown joins from Colonial First State, where she was most recently senior manager, marketing and communications. She first joined CFS in February 2006 and prior to that she held roles with Perennial Investment Partners, IOOF and Norwich Union.

Commenting on her appointment at Paragon, CEO Hillier Deniz said: "With over 20 years' financial services experience, we are delighted to have someone of Tracy's calibre joining our team to lead Paragon's business growth strategy."

Brown added: "I am excited to be joining Paragon at a time of growth and look forward to working with the investment team to leverage its strong performance track record, also coinciding with the Paragon Fund reaching its 5 year milestone this month."

She has replaced David Livera, who joined Janus Henderson in September last year.
