Expanded role for PM Capital Global LIC Chair

PM Capital has announced the appointment of Andrew McGill as a non-executive director of PM Capital's ASX-listed Asian Opportunities Fund Ltd (the company) and as chair of its audit committee, effective 20 March 2017. McGill succeeds Todd Barlow who stepped down due to "increased professional obligations flowing from executive responsibilities."

McGill will remain in his existing role as chair of PM Capital's other listed investment company, the Global Opportunities Fund Ltd.

McGill has over 26 years' experience in the financial services industry, most recently as managing director and chief executive officer of Pacific Current Group, a role he held until September 2015. Prior to this, he was a founding partner of Crescent Capital Partners, where he worked from 2000 until 2010.

In his early career, he held roles with Macquarie Bank's Corporate Finance and Direct Investment teams and was a consultant with LEK Partnership, an international firm of business strategy consultants.
