New appointment for BlackRock iShares team

BlackRock has expanded its iShares business team in Australia with the appointment of Alex Zaika as director - wealth advisory sales strategist. Zaika has over 15 years' experience in financial services, and joins BlackRock from Barclays Capital where he was head of EFS Solutions. Zaika's experience includes managing and building relationships with advisers for international and local wealth managers. In his new role, which will be Sydney based, he will work closely with the client business distribution teams, focusing on the adviser segment.
