Natixis promotes Watson to country head

Natixis Investment Managers has promoted managing director and head of distribution, Louise Watson, to the position of country head for Natixis Investment Managers, Australia and New Zealand.

In her new role she will continue to drive the strategic goals of the company, which offers offshore alternative and ESG strategies to Australian investors.

"With over 20 years' experience in investment banking and asset management, and over three years at Natixis Investment Managers, Australia & New Zealand, Louise has the deep knowledge and industry experience to continue her work as country head," Natixis Investment Managers head of Asia Pacific, Fabrice Chemouny, said

"She is ideally placed to lead Natixis' growth in Australia and New Zealand, supporting clients on their investment journey delivering highly active management with a focus on real assets and sustainable solutions."

Former chief executive officer, Damon Hambly, departed Natixis to become CEO of Investor's Mutual last month.
