NAB's chief of security, David Fairman, has left the organisation after two years.

"We thank him for the significant contribution he made to strengthening the security profile of the NAB group," said a NAB spokesperson. "While a search for his replacement is underway, Nick McKenzie is Acting Chief Enterprise Security Officer and continues to lead the enterprise security portfolio which includes cyber, physical security, investigations and operational fraud capabilities."

Fairman has joined a cloud-based security startup called NetSkope as chief security officer.

Before joining NAB, Fairman held roles with JP Morgan Chase and RBS in the US.
