NAB FP appoints GM for QLD

NAB Financial Planning (NAB FP) has announced the appointment of Rich Brown as general manager, QLD, effective October 2017.

In a statement, the firm said that Brown's appointment aims to "provide local leadership that will enhance the support NAB FP provides its advisers."

Brown has more than 20 years' experience in a variety of senior management roles, culminating in his most recent position as head of adviser distribution for AMP New Zealand. He has experience in strategic direction and in the leadership of large teams of advisers. Prior to AMP he held senior roles with Spark, New Zealand's largest telecommunications provider, managing a team responsible for 90,000 customers.

NAB FP has also announced the appointment of Sandhya Maini as general manager, NSW/ACT.
