National Australia Bank has announced the appointment of David Gall to the role of chief customer officer, corporate and institutional banking, as part of a restructure of the bank's executive leadership team.
Gall has been NAB's chief risk officer and a part of the bank's executive leadership team since August 2014, having spent 29 years in corporate, commercial and retail banking.
Commenting on the restructure - which also sees Mike Baird replace Andrew Hagger as chief customer officer of consumer banking; Rachel Slade appointed as chief customer experience officer; and Shaun Dooley appointed as chief risk officer - NAB CEO, Andrew Thorburn, said: "We have a clear plan to transform NAB and create a sustainable business that puts customers first - and we are executing on that plan."
NAB expects the changes to be in place by 1 October 2018, subject to regulatory approval.
