MyState names GM Banking

Banking and wealth management group, MyState Limited, has announced the appointment of Tony MacRae as general manager, banking, effective early 2019.

In this role, MacRae will lead MyState's banking division which includes retail, call centres, business and agri-business and the mortgage broker channel.

MacRae was previously the national general manager of Westpac retail home ownership distribution, responsible for the strategic sales leadership of Westpac's physical and digital salesforce. Before this, he held other senior roles with the RAMS/Westpac group including acting CEO of RAMS and general manager, third-party distribution for Westpac Group's mortgage broker distribution initiatives.

Commenting on his appointment at MyState, managing director and CEO, Melos Sulicich, said: "We are delighted to welcome Tony to our executive team. [He] brings with him a wealth of experience in the banking sector and extensive and proven record for strategic execution and transformational growth."
