MyState appoints GM Digital & Marketing

Banking and wealth management group MyState Limited has announced the appointment of Heather McGovern as general manager, digital & marketing, effective 18 March 2019.

McGovern has over 20 years' experience in digital and marketing roles within the financial services sector having worked with American Express, the Royal Bank of Canada, National Australia Bank and AIA Australia. Most recently, she served as the chief product & marketing officer at BankVic.

In her new role, McGovern will be responsible for MyState's shared service functions of marketing, and customer insights and analytics, the bank said. In addition, she will be accountable for developing and implementing the digital marketing and user experience capability for the bank.
