Mutual Trust appoints former AIA CIO

Mutual Trust has announced the appointment of Graeme Bibby who will be joining the firm as its new chief investment officer (CIO), effective 9 January 2017.

Bibby has over 20 years' experience in the investment management sector in senior level roles, most recently as the CIO of AIA Australia. Prior to this, Bibby worked in asset consulting at both Russell Investments and Mercer, as well as working in fixed income at Alliance Capital Management and investments with BHP Superannuation.

Commenting on his appointment, Mutual Trust CEO, Tim Hammon, said he was delighted to welcome Bibby to the team.

"Graeme has insightful macro expertise and his ability both to develop strategic asset allocation and to implement tactically will bring significant value to the Mutual Trust investment team."
