MTAA Super's executive manager for operations, Chris Porter, will leave the organisation when its merger with Tasplan is completed in 2021.

Tasplan's Kathleen Crawford has been named the combined chief operations officer.

Others slated to leave the organisation include MTAA deputy CEO Michael Sykes and Tasplan CEO Wayne Davy.

"On behalf of our respective Boards, staff, and members, I sincerely thank all the executives for their dedication and commitment to the funds," said Tasplan CEO Leeanne Turner. "They have been instrumental in driving this merger and have been integral to our success for many years leading up to this. I wish them all the best with their future endeavours."

Porter joined MTAA Super in 2008 as an administration and operations manager. He became executive manager for operations in 2012.

He was previously the NSW state manager for Superpartners and held roles with AMP and Aon Consultant.
