Co-founder Chad Slater has resigned from Morphic Asset Management a year after Ellerston Capital bought a stake in the business.

Slater had also been serving as co-head of global equities since February. Morphic co-founder Jack Lowenstein remains a director with the organisation.

Slater's portfolio has been moved to co-head of global equities Bill Pridham. "MEC will continue to be managed in line with the environmental, social and governance (ESG) charter, supported by James Tayler, head of ESG. Mr Pridham will continue to draw on the investment insight and resources of the broader Ellerston Teams," said Morphic Ethical Equities Fund chair JoAnna Fisher.

Before founding Morphic in 2012, Slater was a portfolio manager at Hunter Hall in the UK and an investment analyst with BT.
