Morningstar's Manager Research Ratings relocates to Chicago

In an announcement by Morningstar of several leadership appointments within its global manager research team, Tom Whitelaw has been named as the firm's new global equity ratings leader, responsible for analyst rating assignments for equity strategies globally.

He is currently director of manager research ratings for Australia and New Zealand and will relocate to Chicago for the new role.

Kathryn Young, who is based in Sydney, will succeed him as both director of manager research ratings Asia-Pacific and chair of the Asia-Pacific ratings committee.
