Montgomery appoints Head of Global Business Development

Montgomery Investment Management, a Sydney-based specialist boutique equity manager, has announced the appointment of Craig Morton as head of global business development for Montgomery Global.

Morton has 14 years' experience in investment markets including seven years at Standard Bank South Africa, five years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Sydney, and twelve months as a consultant to Montgomery Global.

Morton is one of four new Montgomery Global appointees, including head of institutional sales, Matthew Briggs, and research analyst, Lachlan Mackay - who will both be based in the firm's Sydney office - and senior research analyst, Amit Nath - who will be based in the firm's newly-opened New York office.

Their appointments bring the Montgomery Global team to nine, five in Sydney and four in New York.

In addition, Joseph Kim has joined the Montgomery domestic team as a senior research analyst.
