Monochrome Asset Management has appointed David Hobart as its new head of distribution.
Hobart left industry superannuation fund Rest at the end of 2018 where he was the general manager of strategic relations. Since then, he's been consulting across several organisations including London-based litigation funding organisation Woodsford.
Monochrome was founded in April by former Binance CEO Jeff Yew as a way to provide institutional investors access to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency investment opportunities. Hobart is joined by former BlueSky managing director for hedge funds David Hobart.
Monochrome also recently announced the appointment of Derek Henningsen as its risk and compliance head.
