MLC Wealth risk chief steps down

MLC Wealth risk chief Julia Pryor has left the organisation.

Pryor has held several roles with NAB and MLC over the last four years, including head of risk transformation and general manager of risk for the organsiation's superannuation offering.

She announced her departure on LinkedIn, thanking her colleagues. "It has been an amazing time during which I have forged strong relationships, learned much and grown exponentially as a risk professional."

She will start a new role next week. Pryor, who has a legal background, spent time as a senior associate with King & Wood Mallesons and was the general counsel and company secretary at Vision Super.

A spokesperson for MLC Wealth said that Peter Sutherland has taken on the acting CRO duties for the retirement, investment solutions, and platforms division. Sutherland joined the organisation last Steptember as chief risk officer for advice.
