MLC private equity appoints second NY-based senior associate

MLC Asset Management has appointed Ashini Ganesalingam to the position of senior associate in its New York-based private equity team. She joins from Aksia, where she conducted due diligence across private equity, private credit and hedge fund commitments.

She joins new appointees Laura Hotaling as portfolio manager, and Alicia Chen as senior associate. Like Chen, Ganesalingham will support the origination and execution of fund and co- investments in the US and Europe.

These three appointments beef out the MLC private eqyuty team to ten investment professionals based across the New York and Sydney offices.

"It is really exciting to welcome three such highly qualified investment professionals to our New York team," New York-based co-head of private equity, Marek Herchel, said.
