MLC Life appoints Head of New Fund Partnerships

MLC Life Insurance has confirmed the appointment of Emily Wu as head of new fund partnerships, effective October 2019.

In this role, Wu's main responsibility will be to grow the firm's group insurance business with a focus on new superannuation funds.

Commenting on her appointment, a spokesperson for the firm said: "Emily is an invaluable addition to the group insurance team as we continue to develop our growing group insurance business and evolve to meet the needs of members, superfunds and trustees."

They added: "She has strong industry experience in group insurance specifically in product and legal roles."

Wu joins MLC Life from AIA Australia where she served as technical partnerships manager.

MLC Life announced last week another addition to the group insurance team, with Andrea Forbes appointed as executive lead - relationship management.
