Mirotsos takes new role with Zurich

Zurich's John Mirotsos has taken on a new role with the organisation, as head of partnerships.

Until recently, Mirotsos was the national sales manager for group insurance. He came across to Zurich when it acquired OnePath two years ago.

A statement from a spokesperson for Zurich said Mirotsos' new role, and the departure of Paul Trigg, are part of a reorientation under the leadership of head of group insurance Darren Wickham. "Zurich is investing in its Group Insurance business and in market-leading capabilities to make a difference for our partners and their members. We have a new leadership structure to support that ambition under Darren Wickham, our Head of Group Insurance. Darren's leadership team includes John Mirotsos as Head of Partnerships, with overarching responsibility for all of our Group Insurance partnerships, and we have created three new senior roles reporting to Darren (which we are currently hiring for) including: Head of Pricing, Head of Product and a Head of Member Engagement and Innovation."

Mirotsos spent more than a decade with ANZ Wealth in national sales and relationship management roles. He previously spent time with ING and CommInsure.
