Milliman appoints key super industry executive

Global actuarial consulting firm Milliman has appointed Kevin Moloney as the firm's head of consulting services. The appointment, said the firm, is in response to increasing demand for member-focused solutions from industry superannuation funds.

Moloney has 20 years' experience in superannuation and wealth management. Most recently, he held executive management roles with Telstra Super and Energy Super. Prior to this, he was a principal consultant at Mercer within the superannuation and market development business.

Commenting on the appointment, Milliman practice leader Wade Matterson said: "The experience Kevin brings to our business will support us through a period of growth. His broad industry experience, across retirement products, marketing and distribution strategy will serve us well as we continue to expand the depth of our relationships with Australian clients."

He added: "Specifically, Kevin's experience in the industry fund sector will be a powerful addition to our team.
