A spokesperson for Myer Family Co (MFCo) has confirmed the appointment of Justin Rooney, to the newly-created position as head of global market strategies, effective November 2016.
Rooney joins the firm from BT Financial Group, where he was the director of private wealth markets since March 2013.
Previously he was head of institutional sales trading at CBA institutional equities and he also spent 17 years at Macquarie across the cash equities and FX trading division.
Also new to the investment team at MFCo is Adam Walk, as head of investments, and Michael Drew, as chief investment officer. Both joined the firm in January 2017.
