Mercer Australia, Pacific head to depart

Mercer Australia CEO and Pacific zone leader, Ben Walsh, will leave the organisation at the end of April.

Jo-Anne Bloch will take over as the interim Pacific zone leader and Australian CEO.

David Anderson, Mercer's President, International, said "Ben has been a valued and highly respected colleague for 26 years. We are proud of the many accomplishments of our teams in the Pacific under Ben's leadership and we wish him every success for the future."

Walsh has been MD and CEO for Mercer Australia since 2015 and first joined Marsh & McLennan as a graduate in the early 1990s.

He holds several directorships, including for the Financial Services Council and is chair of Pillar Administration.
