Member Director departs Media Super

Media Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of member representative, Lorraine Cassin, effective 8 August 2017.

Cassin first joined the industry fund's board in October 2009, representing the AMWU Printing Division, where she is currently the federal print division secretary.

Commenting on her departure, Media Super CEO, Graeme Russell, said that "Cassin had flagged earlier this year her need to focus more time and energy on her job as Federal Secretary of the AMWU Printing Division."

He added: "The Board [has] acknowledged Cassin's very substantial contribution to growing Media Super through more effective workplace relationships and activities, and to producing 1st quartile investment returns for members."

Succeeding Cassin is Gary Callaghan who joined the board on 31 August 2017.
