Media Super appoints new chair

Media Super has appointed Susan Heaney as chair following the retirement of Gerard Noonan.

Noonan, who has held directorships with a variety of publishing organisations and associations, first joined the board in 2013. She has been deputy chair since March.

"I'm looking forward greatly to taking on the role and working with fellow directors to continue the evolution of the fund," said Heaney.

Heaney is the director and owner of Heaneys Performers in Print.

Media Super is currently in negotiations to merge with Cbus. The fund is expected to make a decision by the end of the year.
